A shipment of seven cases of linens, hospital supplies and garments valued at $1,200 was sent to the Hadassah Medical Organization in Palestine on February 2 by the Hadassah Palestine Supplies Bureau. These garments and supplies are gathered from 750 sewing groups in Hadassah Chapters, Sisterhoods and other Jewish women’s organizations throughout the United States.
The shipment made February 2 on the S. S. Providence also carried three cases of garments, linens and supplies valued at $500 for Meier Shfeyah, the children’s village maintained by Junior Hadassah.
