The Joint Distribution Committee announced today that it was moving its overseas headquarters from Paris to Geneva July 7. At the same time, the announcement said, the French office of the JDC would take over the former European headquarters.
During the Nazi era the JDC was forced to transfer its European headquarters from Berlin to Paris and, after France was overrun, to Lisbon. It returned to Paris after the liberation of France.
