Budget requirements of the Joint Distribution Committee for its relief, rehabilitation and emigration programs and for its medical and rehabilitation programs in Israel, will total $23,500,000 for 1952, it was announced here following a four-day planning conference of J.D.C. representatives and American leaders of the organization.
Of the total, $9,500,000 is allocated for the J.D.C.’s Malben program in Israel. With this sum, it was stated, the Malben program will have facilities in 1952 for 12,000 “hard core” cases.
