The Joint Distribution Committee stands ready to aid the Jews of Rumania as soon as conditions permit of planned activity, Alexander Kahn, vice-chairman, announced in a statement today. Plans for strengthening the cooperative societies, establishment of new and expansion of old trade schools and training homes, and widening the scope of free loan institutions were interrupted by political conditions in Rumania, according to the statement.
