J. M. Levine Reelected Free Synagogue Head

Joseph M. Levine, Commissioner of Taxes and Assessments, was re-elected president of the Free Synagogue of New York at the annual dinner meeting of the Executive Council tendered to the newly elected members of the Executive Council. Mr. Levine, who is one of the founders of the Free Synagogue, has been active in Jewish and general communal work for more than thirty years. Other officers elected were Benjamin Schloss and Frederick L. Guggenheimer, vice-presidents; Ira Frank, honorary secretary and Edward Davis, treasurer.
