The receipts of the Jewish National Fund for the first quarter of the year 5690 were $240,955 as compared with $156,185 during the same period in 5689, an increase of 54 percent. The principal participants in these receipts are the United States, $37,000; Poland, $23,000; Germany, $24,000; Great Britain, $13,000, and Palestine $8,000. A definite increase was recorded in the receipts from all of these countries over the year 5689.
