The Jewish National Fund will establish a colony in Palestine in honor of Justices Louis D. Brandeis of the United States Supreme Court, it was announced here tonight at a celebration in honor of the noted jurist’s eightieth birthday tomorrow.
Announcement of the plan was made by M.M. Ussishkin, world president of the Fund, at a gathering at the headquarters of the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
Other celebrations in honor of Mr. Justice Brandeis will be held tomorrow, including one at the all-Jewish city of Tel Aviv.
