The Jewish National Fund will spend $9,200,000 in 1948 for the establishment of a new city in the Negev and the-provision of security a water for new agricultural settlements there, it was revealed here today at a fress conference by Dr. Abraham Granovsky, J.N.F. president.
He added that the J.N.F. will concentrate its efforts this year on the reclamation of the Negev area. The over-all J.N.F. “budget for 1948 is $44,000,000, Dr. Granofsky announced.
