Representatives of all groups and parties in Polish Jewry met amicably to-day on American ground at a reception given by the United States Embassy for the first time to a Jewish journalist, when Mr. John Wiley, the Charge d’Affaires, who is conducting the affairs of the Embassy in the absence of the Ambassador, gave a reception in honour of Mr. Jacob Landau, the Managing Director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Captains of industry, bankers and leaders of commerce from every part of the country were present, as well as Councillors and attaches of the Embassy, the United States Consul-General, Mr. Huddle, and representatives of the Polish Government.
