The United States Coast Guard should not permit licensing of Adolf Hitler’s former personal pleasure yacht to George Rockwell’s American Nazi Party, in the event Rockwell purchases the vessel. National commander Milton A. Waldor, of the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A., told the JWV national executive committee meeting here today.

"It is unthinkable that the United States Government would permit the Nazi swastika emblem to fly from this yacht, built especially for Hitler, and would allow its intended use by Rockwell as a floating center of Nazi agitation and propaganda," Commander Waldor said. The national executive committee authorized the staff of the JWV to confer with the U.S. Coast Guard on the resolution of this problem.

The 85-foot craft, constructed for Hitler in 1939, and fitted with the finest mahogany hull and teakwood decks, accommodates 17 in comfortable bunks. It is now berthed in Miami, where American owners who acquired the yacht after the war have announced their willingness to sell it to Rockwell if he can come up with the purchase price.
