G. A. Baldini, director of the Concert Division of the city’s musical activities, will present Jack Harris as guest conductor of the Gotham Dance Orchestra this evening on the Central Park Mall. Other dance music for the evening will be played by the University Dance Orchestra under the baton of Sammy Rosenbaum, at Fort Greene Park, and the Metropolitan Dance Orchestra, led by Nat Sanders at Hamilton Fish Park. All programs start at 8:30 o’clock.
The symphonic and band concerts for today include the Knickerbocker Little Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Allan L. Langley at the Brooklyn Museum at 3 P. M.; the Hudson Concert Band directed by Gerardo Iasilli at Astoria Park at 8:30 P. M., and the Manhattan Concert Band conducted by Giovanni Vonterno at Battery Park at noon.
