The family of Jacob P. Adler, the famous Yiddish theatrical star who died a few years ago, will appear together on Broadway this Fall. Last May they appeared as a unit in a Yiddish production at the Second Avenue theatre.
The Adlers will be presented on Broadway by George Jessel, well-known American-Jewish actor, who announced that they would begin an engagement at one of the Shubert houses on Sept. 23. The Adlers will appear in Russian and Yiddish plays, among them Chekhov’s “Three Sisters.”
