James Marshall, eldest son of the late Louis Marshall, in accepting the chairmanship of the Jewish Education Association Dinner Committee, referred to his father’s deep interest in Jewish education. The dinner will be held December 8, at the Biltmore Hotel in New York.
In his letter, made public by Israel Unterberg, President of the Association, Mr. Marshall wrote:
“The extension in the United States of education in Judaism was close to the heart of my father, who regarded it as a vital need for our people. It will give me great pleasure to be of service to the Jewish Education Association in the promotion of its work.”
