Jan Masaryk, Foreign Minister of the Czechoslovakian Government-in-Exile, today received the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws at the eleventh annual commencement exercises of the Yeshiva College here. Following presentation of the degree, Mr. Masaryk addressed the student body of the college and the 2,000 visitors attending the ceremonies.
Forty-two members of the graduating class received their baccalaureate degrees and three degrees of Doctor of Hebrew Letters were conferred by the graduate school. In addition to Mr. Masaryk, honorary degrees were received by Prof. Cassius Jackson Kayser of Columbia University and Rabbi Aaron M. Ashiasky of Pittsburgh.
