A NUMBER OF JEWS ARRIVED HERE FROM TIENTSIN, REPORTING THEY HAD FLED AFTER THE JAPANESE AUTHORITIES HAD DEMANDED THEY SIGN INDIVIDUAL ANTI-SOVIET OATHS WHICH WOULD HAVE JEOPARDIZED RELATIVES RESIDING IN RUSSIA.
