Officers and directors will be elected at the annual meeting of the national council of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee on Saturday evening, April 13, at Temple Emanu-El.
The meeting, at which additional members of the national council, selected from outstanding leaders of Jewish communities throughout the United States who have rendered service on behalf of the overseas philanthropic work of the organization, will be elected, will be addressed by Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, who recently returned from a visit to Germany and countries where thousands of refugees from the Reich are presently located, and by Felix M. Warburg, who visited Palestine a few weeks ago, it was announced Friday by Joseph C. Hyman, secretary of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
