Warburg, chairman of the J.D.C. “Cable from Lisbon” tells the story of the suffering and the rescue of victims of the war and of persecution, as it unfolds in the scores of cabled appeals from all parts of the world that funnel through the J.D.O. European headquarters in Lisbon daily are are relayed to New York.
