JDC Dramatizes Story of Its Work on Radio Sunday

The Joint Distribution Committee will broadcast a drama of its work, entitled “Cable from Lisbon,” over the WOR-Mutual network on Sunday from 12 to 12:30 P.M. Among those expected to appear on the program are Edna Ferber, George S. Kaufman, Raymond Gram Swing and Edward”. M. Warburg, chairman of the J.D.C. “Cable from Lisbon” tells the story of the suffering and the rescue of victims of the war and of persecution, as it unfolds in the scores of cabled appeals from all parts of the world that funnel through the J.D.O. European headquarters in Lisbon daily are are relayed to New York.
