Permission to ship 2,000 pounds of essential foodstuffs into Leipzig in the Soviet zone has been granted the Joint Distribution Committee, it was announced here today.
The shipment will be the first one to reach Leipzig and will be transported by the International Red Cross. It will be distributed to Leipzig’s 300 Jewish residents by the Jewish community.
