Jean Jaffe, American Yiddish journalist, member of the editorial staff of the Day-Morning Journal, died of a heart attack last Thursday on S. S. Cambodia en route from Hong Kong to India, according to a cable received today from the United States Consul in Hong Kong. She was on a world cruise. Born in Lithuania 60 years ago, she came to the United States in her early youth. She entered the field of Yiddish journalism more than 30 years ago.
