Jerome J. Rothschild, first president of the Philadelphia Jewish Community Relations Council, died at his home in Elkins Park yesterday at the age of 80. He was a member of the national board of the American Jewish Committee and of its Philadelphia chapter, a past president of the National Conference of Christians and Jews and former president of the Samuel S. Fels Fund.
