Under the combined auspices of the Hudson County district of the American Jewish Physicians’ Committee and the Jersey City and North Hudson chapters of Hadassah, a concert and buffet supper will be held here Monday night for the benefit of Hadassah Hospital, which will be part of the Hebrew University in Palestine. The affair will be held in the Gertrude Hirsch auditorium of the Jewish Community Center.
Speakers will include Mrs. Edward Jacobs, national chairman of the project; Dr. Nathan Ratnoff, president of the American Jewish Physicians’ Committee, and Dr. Samuel Kopetzky, of New York. Edis Phillips, lyric soprano of Chicago Opera, and Ben-Ari of Moscow Habimah Players, will entertain.
The committee in charge includes Dr. A. E. Jaffin, Dr. J. Rosenberg, Mrs. S. Ben-Asher, Mrs. I. H. Franklin, Mrs. I. Gross, David I. Cohen, Dr. David R. Godlin, Mrs. J. Weisberg, Mrs. William Friedenberg and Mrs. E. C. Altshul.
