Pesin, who together with Minority Leader John Rafferty is leading a fight for the enactment of the legislation, asserted his belief the bill will be enacted in its present form. The measure has already passed the Assembly. Protests against its severtity have been made by various elements, ranging all the way from some leading papers, to the Communists and radicals.
