A special Israel-Jordan armistice committee on Jerusalem today discussed the problem of free passage for Jews through the Arab-held ?trun area and to Mt. Scopus, and the free passage for Arabs from the Old City of Jerusalem to Bethlehem. The committee adjourned for two weeks to give the respective delegations an opportunity to consult with their governments plans for future talks on the committee.
Meanwhile, the mixed Israel-Syrian armistice commission met yesterday at Rosh ?nah, in northeastern Israel, to discuss a number of complaints including the dis?osition of forces in the Lake Tiberias area.
