The Jerusalem municipality tonight unanimously adopted a resolution demanding the immediate incorporation of Jerusalem within Israel and its proclamation as the capital of the Jewish state. The resolution also demanded the ending of the regime of the Israeli military governor.
The municipality was enlarged to give representation to all shades of political opinion in the city. Israeli Interior Minister Itzhak Gruenbaum and Jewish Agency chairman Berl Locker attended the session.
