The strange spectacle of a Jew heading a list of candidates which includes members of the antisemitic Nazi Party is afforded in the municipal elections in the province of Carinthia, where Dr. Gustav Braun, a local Jewish manufacturer, is heading the anti-Marxist list in the town of Weissenstein. The list includes five Nazis and five Christian Socialists, and several candidates of the Agrarian Party.
