Dr. Moses Jung, Professor of Religion at the State University of Iowa, was invited to be the All University Speaker at the opening Vesper Service. He is the first Jewish professor so honored.

Last year he had the honor of being invited to deliver the coveted Baconian lecture before the University faculty. The Iowa School of Religion is the only University School of its kind in the world. “Cooperation without compromise” is the principle which guides the activities of its Catholic, Jewish, Protestant and non-denominational professors and which has been described as the most encouraging aspect of campus life.
