Paul C. Wolman, Baltimore Jewish attorney, was elected national commander-in-chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at the concluding session of that organization’s 31st annual encampment. Mr. Wolman was elected by acclamation. In the contest for national chaplain, Rabbi Emanuel J. Jack of Yonkers was unanimously elected.
Mr. Wolman, who has been senior vice-commander for three years, served overseas with the 313th infantry. For two years he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars national council of administration and a judge advocate general. As commander-in-chief he heads an organization of 150,000 men who have served in all the wars of the United States since the Civil War.
