Three Jewish organizations will benefit from the will of the late August Goldsmith, member of the jewelry firm of Goldsmith. Stern and Co., who died May 24, 1933, it was revealed when his estate was appraised at the Manhattan office of the New York State Transfer Tax Department. Bequests to these institutions follows: The federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, $4,000; Temple Israel, 202 West Ninety-first street, $1,000, and the Educational Alliance, 197 East Broadway, $1,000.
Mr. Goldsmith left an estate valued at $536,820 gross and $493,-683 net. The residue was divided equally among his sons, Richard of 45 Park avenue, Lawrence L. of 125 East Seventy-second street, and Arthur J. of the Waldorf Towers.
