Mrs. Enoch Rauh, holder of the office during the past two terms, was re-appointed this week Director of the Department of Public Welfare of Pittsburgh by Mayor Charles H. Kline. The appointment of Mrs. Rauh to the newly formed city cabinet quickly dispelled rumors that she would not be re-named to head the department for the third successive year. Under her leadership, the city recently completed a $2,500,000 building program in record time and with a fine surplus.
