Jewess Wins Discus Throwing Championship

Lillian Copeland, Jewish law student of Los Angeles won the world discus throwing women’s championship at the Olympic games.

The award was bestowed upon her for her feat in throwing her discus 133 feet and 2 inches.

In a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency Miss Copeland stated that this is her last Olympic contest and that she will devote herself to law in the future.
