Dr. Saul Tschernichowsky, noted Hebrew poet, who is now on a visit to America, was made foreign member of the Jewish Academy of Arts and Sciences at a meeting held Sunday night.
A message of congratulations was despatched by the Academy to Prof. Albert Einstein on his fiftieth birthday.
Papers were presented by Prof. J. Ginsberg and Dr. L. M. Herbert, whose topic was: “An Evaluation of the poetry of Dr. Saul-Tschernichowsky.
