The United Community Committee of Park Slope, Brooklyn, composed of representatives of the Jewish, Protestant and Catholic faiths and various civic associations, will hold a National Brotherhood Good Will dinner on May 17 at the Park Slope YMCA, Ninth Street and Sixth Avenue.
The Bay Ridge Civic Council, composed of twenty-seven groups, will also participate.
Rabbi B. Leon Hurwitz, leader of the Ninth Street Temple, is president of the United Committee. He also heads the local Interdenominational Clergymen’s Association.
Honorary chairmen of the dinner include the Rev. S. Parkes Cadman, Father Edward J. Walsh, vice president of St. John’s college, and Rabbi Alexander Lyons.
