The Jewish Agency executive has allocated 750,000 pounds to cover the budgets for kindergartens maintained in the immigrate work villages, it was reported here today at a meeting of the executive.
Moshe Kol, member of the executive in charge of the Youth Aliyah movement, reported that the Minister of Education had agreed that parents of children under the care of Youth Aliyah would, in the future, be able to choose the type of school which their children would attend. Yesterday, Mr. Kol reported that 7,000,000 pounds had been allocated for youth immigration, 70 percent of it from Oriental countries.
