A Hebrew Arts Film House to serve Americans of all ages who are studying Hebrew will be inaugurated with a series of special film showings, it was announced today by the Hebrew Arts Foundation.
The project, which is being undertaken with the cooperation of the Jewish Agency, presents an opportunity to audiences to see and hear films in basic Hebrew as an entertaining supplement to their Hebrew courses. Among the pictures to be shown are a quartet of Hebrew Song Films: “Shabbat Sholem Umevorach, ” “Tzena, ” “Dunam Po V’Dunam Sham,” and “Hasheevanu”; “Vistas of Israel, ” continuing three scenes of modern Israel, and “Palle Alone in the World, ” the prize-winning Danish short which has been dubbed into Hebrew.
