The Jewish Agency, the Keren Hayesod and the Jewish National Fund will require $52,000,000 for their activities during the fiscal year starting Oct. 1st, it was announced today by the United Palestine Appeal, through which these agencies receive their American support.
The budget of the Jewish Agency and Keren Hayesod, calling for $26,325,000, includes major allocations for immigration, relief and housing of refugees and agricultural settlement. The Jewish National Fund needs $25,434,405 during the current year to carry out its program of land acquisition for new agricultural settlements and for housing for returning soldiers and newcomers.
