The Jewish Agency’s attempt to arbitrate the dispute between the Histadruth and the Revisionist National Workers Union over employment at two new knitting mills established in Petach Tikvah has ended in failure, it was announced today.

Joseph Suprasky, a member of the Agency temporary executive who was assigned to mediate the dispute, announced that he was withdrawing because the Histadruth refused to recognize that the Revisionist group was a party to the dispute, insisting that the conflict existed only between it and the Industrialists Association. Suprasky also charged that the Agency’s Labor Department was hampering his efforts.
