The Jewish Agency revealed today that it has prohibited the continuation of a separate fund-raising drive among Jews in the United States for Yemenite refugees in Israel, now being conducted by Zachariah Glusko.
Three work camps are being set up in the Jerusalem corridor by the Agency, to accomodate newcomers from Yemen who are now at the Givat Shaul camp here, it was announced today.
Four more work camps are being completed in Galilee, A new settlement for privately-owned farms will be established next week in the Jerusalem corridor, to be named Kfar Shmuel in honor of the late Rabbi Stephen S. Wise. Settlers will be drawn from former residents of Rumania and Hungary.
