The report–published in New York–that it was decided at the Roosevelt-Churchill-Statlin conference at Yalta to permit 300,000 Jews to enter Palestine was termed “completely baseless” today by Dr. Bernard Joseph, legal adviser of the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
Addressing a press conference here, Dr. Joseph severely criticized the Palestine correspondent of the New York newspaper who cabled the story of the alleged agreement to New York. “This is the second time that this correspondent has published false and harmful reports,” he said.
