The Jewish Agency office announced here today than American students in engineering and allied fields are being offered three-month jobs in Israel this summer, where they can get practical experience in their chosen fields under a “summer work program.”
Most of the openings are in civil and agricultural engineering, soil conservation and surveying, the announcement said. Participants will be assigned to jobs with various public and private institutions in Israel from June 1 to September 1. Applications will be accepted from the Jewish Agency up to March 1. They must be accompanied by letters of recommendation from university instructors.
