The Jewish Agency has prepared a five-year plan designed to receive and absorb in Israel all Jews compelled or desiring to come to Israel from all parts of the world, it was revealed here today at a press conference by Levi Eshkol, treasurer of the Jewish Agency.
About 500 new settlements will be established during the five years for the absorption of the immigrants. It is expected that Israel will become agriculturally self-sufficient during this period.
