The Jewish Agency is contemplating the establishment of 150 new settlements this year at a cost of approximately $85,000,000, it was reported today at a meeting of the plenary session of the Agency executive.
Submitting the report, Levi Eshkol. Agency treasurer, said that “the Agency’s policy is to make secure all points vital to Israel’s defense.” He added that in the “Jerusalem corridor” a total of 28 new settlements has been established in addition to 25 which will be set up soon.
