Aryeh L. Pincus, treasurer of the Jewish Agency, arrived here today from Israel to help the United Jewish Appeal in its special effort to launch a $35,000,000 special fund over and above its regular 1962 drive.
Scheduled to speak in a number of cities, Mr. Pincus will outline the pressing needs of the Jewish Agency in view of the increased immigration into Israel. His first appearance will be tomorrow, in Boston. Climaxing Mr. Pincus’ speaking tour will be his appearance at the 24th annual conference of the UJA, to be held on December 10 and 11 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. He is expected to give a detailed report on the activities and 1962 budget requirements of the Jewish Agency.
