The executive of the Jewish Agency today expressed its deep sorrow over the death in Jerusalem on Sunday of Arthur Hantke, veteran Zionist public servant and co-chairman of the board of directors of the Keren Hayesod. The Jewish Agency’s statement issued here reads, in part:
“We share with all Zionists and friends of Israel a deep sense of loss at the passing away of our friend and colleague, Arthur Hantke. His contribution to Zionism and the Keren Hayesod are of historical importance. His noble and idealistic personality will occupy forever a position of honor in the history of our generation.”
