Jewish Art Student Wins Pulitzer Prize

Sidney Fischman, an art student at the National Academy of Design has been awarded the annual Pulitzer Traveling scholarship, which amounts to $1,500, and which allows the winner to study abroad for one year.

Several other Jewish students were awarded prizes and received honorable mention at the annual distribution of awards, among them being William Cohen, Philip Saltzman, Louis Goldfinger and Seymour Fogel.
