American Jewish artists and collectors are showing marked interest in the new museum in the all-Jewish city of Tel Aviv, Palestine, according to Elias Newman, prominent Jewish artist, and the special American representative of the Museum.
Contributions to the museum have recently been made from the collection of George S. Hellman, and by Chaim Gross, Foshko, Louis G. Ferstadt, Abbo Ostrowsky, Saul and others.
Further contributions to the museum may be sent to Mr. Newman at Temple Israel, this city.
A number of exhibitions by Jewish artists can be seen this week.
At the Delphic Studios, sculpture by Leo Fischer is being shown. The exhibition will continue until October 30.
At the art students League, a showing of the work of Mrs. Irma Stoloff will be held.
