Shephard J. Goldberg, private banker of 171 East Broadway, died Monday at his home in Woodmere, Long Island, within a month of his 46th birthday. He leaves his wife and four children.
Mid. Goldberg has held many important positions in charitab institutions. For five years he was Treasurer of the Peoples’ Relief Committee and went abroad as its official representative during the war. He had been Treasurer of the United Jewish Aid Society, director of the Hebrew Educational Society and an active worker with the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities.
