James P. Warburg, banker, and Mrs. Warburg, the former Mrs. Phyllis Baldwin Browne, were to have sailed Friday night on the North. German Lloyd liner Europa on what was understood to be a honeymoon trip. The banker was recently married.
The Warburgs were booked to leave for Europe a week ago on the Bremen, the other express vessel which the German line has in the North Atlantic service but several hours before the ship drew away from her pier word was obtained that their passage had been cancelled.
On that occasion the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League issued a caustic statement assailing Mr. Warburg for deliberately flouting the Jewish boycott against the Nazi regime. The banker could not be reached but his secretary said her employer was opposed to all ###ycotts.
