The figures on immigration and emigration in Palestine have just been published here. The figures show that immigrants to the country during April were 417, including 322 Jews, whereas there were 172 emigrants, including 70 Jews.
The birth and death statistics showed that the birth rate per thousand was 49 Christians, 75 Moslems, 42 Jews, whereas the death rate per thousand was 22 Christians, 37 Moslems and 12 Jews.
