The Central Association of German citizens of the Jewish Faith has disproved another accusation recently made much use of in the German anti-Semitic Volkische press, in its campaign of contrasting facts with assertions.
The Voekische press during the month of August carried on a wide agitation in connection with the case of a merchant, Kaufman, who was sentenced to one and a half year’s imprisonment on charges of assault. The newspapers asserted that Kaufman was Jewish.
The Association now announced that it has established that Kaurman is not a Jew. He was a group leader in the Berlin Stahlhelm.
