A publication listing the titles of some 100 paperbound books of Jewish interest has been issued by the National Jewish Welfare Board’s Jewish Book Council. The Council is the sponsor of Jewish Book Month to be marked from November 20 to December 20, when the new pamphlet will receive nation-wide distribution.
The booklet. “Paperbound Books of Jewish Interest, ” containing 99 titles, was prepared by Miss Diana Bernstein, director of JWB’s Women’s Organizations’ Division, The booklet has 24 titles under fiction; 27 in the field of history and sociology, 22 in the category of religion and philosophy; nine listings for biography and autobiography; seven for literature; four for language, and six under miscellaneous.
